Since it's been out there a while now, has anyone found a way to defeat the ASE? The procedure for the Maxima does get you into the double-secret menu but the "Off" selection is missing in the "Z".

i just installed amp and subs to factory bose system.sub system works find but found when i listen to fm stereo it has bad reception to stations but cd aux sat works fine.when i disconnect the amp the stereo is ok.ant suggestion would be appreciated.

New head unit recommendation

I am planning to replace the stock head unit in my 370Z. After searching a lot and reading online reviews I have narrowed my choice down to Pioneer AVIC-Z120BT and Kenwood DNX9960. Kenwood has better voice recognition system with Garmin maps. Pioneer has a good user interface with Pandora and iPhone controls. Can anyone point me in the right direction and help me to choose the best one?

22 INCH MONITOR IN THE TRUNK AS WELL AS 2 10" SUBS, 4 AMPS, 4 6.5" KICKER MIDS,TWEET COMBOS,2 SPARE BATTERIES, DOLBY DIGITAL PROCESSOR.
THIS IS IN A CONVERTABLE. ANYONE ELSE DONE A SYSTEM IN A CONVERTABLE. I WOULD LIKE TO SEE SOME OTHER IDEAS. ALSO 2 L7'S IN THE CAB AND ALL FACTORY BOSE SPEAKERS REPLACED WITH KICKER COMPONETS.

Thank you to Pacific Star Line in Torrance Ca. for the install today. Took a few hours and the result is perfect as usual from these guys. They also did my window tint.

Now I don't have any messy wires hanging around and when I turn on the car, everything powers up via 12 volts! (I believe everything is connected to the back of the 12 volt plug. (I can still plug in a phone charger, etc. to the 12 volt source)

The best part is.. I can close it! What GPS unit?..

Completely removable if need be (bracket stays in place for easy clip in/out)..

Bracket mounted.. 3 screws and one hole for wire. The thing doesn't budge..

The screen is just about as large as any OEM (but for much less $$)..

Both powered up and ready to go!..

The GPS sits nice and high in an otherwise useless cubby and is easily visible/usable and the door is no nuisance to have open while driving as it is relatively small.

I was wondering if i could transplan the heat seat on 370z to an aftermarket seats such as... Sparco,Bride,Recaro Seats??? (to get more cornering support!!!!)

Bluetooth Memo pad

I got my new z on April 3, the other day I was using the bluetooth memo pad and there was already a message on there and a guy kept saying I am going to kill you and your entire fucking family!! at the end it said "this car is jinxed" was kind of freaky. It must have been done some where in between when it arrived in the country and getting to the dealer. I played it for the Nissan rep at the dealer but they had no idea how it got on there. Not sure they really cared that much. but I just figured they would want to know. Otherwise, the car is fantastic except for the death threat provided to me by NISSAN!
