Well, it's been a long road and not being "lottery winning" rich, I had to get my "09" 370Z built the way I wanted it, a little bit at a a time. I tried to knock out the stuff I was physically and mechanically able to do and afford first. This included things like AP Racing 3 piston big brake kit on the front and AP racing dual piston big break kit on the rear. (wanted to make sure when I got to the point of making it FAST, I was ready to make it stop just as good). these went on with just minor issues and once installed with the included steel braided lines, the entire brake system was bled with Motul brake fluid. I must give kudos to "Motive Products" bleeding products. It makes bleeding your brakes an easy one person job. Next product to go on were the Hotkis front and rear adjustable anti-sway bars. very noticeable difference when these went on. Now it was time for a little better breathing and I installed a cold air intake and a Stillen Cat-back exhaust system. Some noticably minor gains there. From there came some aestetic add-ons including the Seibon from splitter and a Nismo look rear wing both made of carbon fiber and both installed by the body shop I use and swear by here in the Orlando, Fl. area. very professional install. Also installed the interior carbon fiber accent kit that was just enough to make it look different and give it a little flare.
now it was time to add a little external cooling to keep those oil temps in check and I installed the Stillen external oil cooler which helped drop the oil temps by about 30 degrees. For more adjustment in the rear camber and toe, I installed the SPL toe rods and camber rods with full adjustability. These work great and give plenty of adjsustment which is going to be grea with the new KW3 coil overs that got installed next. can't say enough about these and their full adjustability. the car was then cross weighted and now handles like it is on rails. I only dropped the car 1/2" but it made all of the difference in the world. Now the car stops on a dime and will go around the tightest of corners with ease. only thing left is to make it get up and go. for that, I chose to go with the Stillen supercharger and new mapping software. this was done by titan motorsports here in Orlando and they would be my only choice to every do this on my car or any car in the future. They did a perfect job and the car gets up and goes now. I have to actually be careful so I don't start eating through expensive tires too quickly. That about does it other than a few minor things here or there which I have done. I hope you had as much fun reading this as I did building it up and driving it now. Please feel free to ask any questions you may have as I would like to give back to the many people that helped me make my decisions along the way during this year and a half long project.
