I think its the performance car bargin of the bunch of new offerings from the manufactures.  Plus toyota stopped development of the Supra replacement and Honda cancelled the S2000 replacement and the NSX replacement. 

This means that the Z, the GT-R, Infiniti G37 coupe, IS-F and the EVO are about the only Japanese performance offerings

Agreed. And the Z is the only one I can afford. Placed my order same day President Obama took office. Now is the unbearable wait...

I got mine! I came from a stage 1 Evo IX and I must say that I enjoy the ride in the 370 that much more. Looking forward to all the power upgrades to come with time and tuning.
