No such luck there are none but plenty aftermarkt to chose from.....I have driven my 2010 pretty hard and haven't seen it get cloose to the limp mode. The thought of have some leak is keeping me from installing one.

where u at longhair? what temps? I was in palm springs and was doin some canyon carving. I was running about 70% on the car and in a matter of seconds the temp shot up to 258. The car doesn't excavate heat well.

karz Z1 has a kit you can opt to buy in different sizes and what not. Call nissan north america and tell them your complaints, they good willed me a cooler and I have yet to receive it. The difference is, is that the kit from Nissan doesn't have a thermostatic plate and the kit from Z1 Motorsports does. You can see about getting a cooler gifted to you like they did me and wait forever and a day, plus buy the conversion kit and save 400 bucks....just an idea. what are your temps like? Mine in traffic were 240ish and that was brand new. I have 4400 on the car now and the temps have dropped a little. Im switching to mobil 1 full synthetic this weekend and will have to see how the temps are.

My temps are like the 223 if my old eyes are correct which is great, Texas heat has been in the 102 105 range...speed was 105 110 for 20 minutes and stayed mid range.

yeah that isn't enough time for it to generate that much heat. If you have a decent load on your engine that is how you can tell the heating problems. Examle: mountain driving and it being 110 outside. Low speed and high revs. What kind of oil do you have and how many miles?

Using the recommended Nissan oil...yes a little pricey but why scimp on the blood of a car? Owned so may cars in my 58 yrs have seen what preimum oil can do....304000 thousand miles on a 71 Cougar until I wreaked it....80 thousand on a 82 Cutlas and washed out the mains using less then good oil and not changing on a regular bases...currently own a 95 Firebird I bought in 96 has 270K using Quaker State Delux from the git go....going to run the Nissan stuff it's only $$$$$$$

Yeah good point longhair. When I got my oil change from nissan I noticed at 2000 miles my oil was already turning brown, now i don't know about you but that seems to me like a tattle tail sign of mineral oil. The oil that they are supposed to use is the ester based synthetic oil. The mobil 1 my dad uses doesn't even turn brown past 5000, however being that he is a truck driver and drives 80 miles at 2 in the morning to work may have something to do with the color change. example constant temp and rpms? The other problem is that one of the guys stated on here he had to pay extra for the ester based oil change which cost him about 70bucks. I noticed at midnight coming home from work and it being 66 outside my car is running 205. In the afternoon it is about 220-230 with no "hot rodding" ya know?

6130 miles on my car left that out....$12 a quart is what ester is costing at the dealer. It can turn green just as long as it is doing what it's suppose to do..LMBO..will stick with it for the long haul and see how it pans out. As for your oil cooler save up some scratch and do it...cars, guns and Starbucks (good charities) it's all good....don't get me staring at that darn gage....yesterday was 103 in good old San Antonio and highway / city driving stayed 198 - 223....would rather have an oil press gauge......go get the oil cooler....

I heard of a place here in cali that sells them at reasonable price. Z1 motorsports kit was a little expensive. Yeah the mobil 1 didn't pan out as good as I hoped it would. 230's at 94 degrees doin 75 down the highway. Its sad that Nissan released a product this bad. I also read that with a warmer climate I wouldn't need to get the termostatic plate oil cooler kit. It never gets below 45ish out here and not too sure about the engine oil running temp going down the highway. Any idea on the tempature range for needing the thermo plate ?

thanks to all for the input. will be contacting nissan to see if they'll send me a cooler.haven't had any problems yet. but why wait. If nissan won't play, I'll go to Z1....I'll stick with ester oil and the factory filter as long as i'm in warranty. don't wanna give them a reason to void my warranty. a friend that works in service dept. told me if I'm gonna do my own oil changes, to keep the reciepts and mark the miles on it just in case they try to make an issue of DIY oil changes...
